Technology Station in Electronics
The Technology Station in Electronics empowers SME's to become global competitors, Traditional approaches to business have changed virtually overnight – and the sources of wealth and economic development in the information era have shifted to knowledge, learning and innovation.
Situated at the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT), the Technology Station in Electronics (TSE) forms part of the TSP, and operates in the electronic, electrical, and information and communication technology industries.
The main objective of the TSE is to assist SME's to become global competitors through:
- Product design and development (prototyping)
- Electronic Assembling (Surface Mount Technology)
- Small-scale production
Vision
To be the preferred technology provider in the electronics, electrical, and information and communication technology industries to South African SME's.
Mission
To create, apply and transfer knowledge and high-standard technology for improving the products and services of SME's.
